WHY TO LEARN MATH?
Mathematics will help you in your lives, not because you will see the same types of problems in the real world but because you are learning to think quantitatively and abstractly and developing an inquiry relationship with math.

Class Culture and Grade Policy
It is easy to get an “A” in all of my Math Classes – just BE NICE and WORK HARD. Please find all details at Class Routines and Homework Policy sub-pages.
Homework and involvement in the lessons is a key to success in class. All assignments are posted daily on the board and on web-pages corresponding to your class as well as in your Google Classrooms.

Field Trips (tentative in 2021-2022 due to COVID restrictions)
Annual field trips include attending Math Fair at Williams Paterson University (November) and guided tours to Princeton University (May). We also may attend Engineering and Math Fairs at NJIT or Stevens College, if such events are available. I feel that Field Trips motivate students' learning, help kids to choose the right College, a suitable profession, and to discover more opportunities.
